Rising from the grave

Each tombstone should have a third date: the date of rising from the grave

We bury our loved ones and bid them farewell.
We put our fathers, our mothers into the casket and bury them six feet under the ground.

One day these caskets will open up — unbelievable yet true.

Rising up from the grave and the grave opening up sounds insane and absurd — alas – so true!!!

This is the Day of accounting — the Day when the oppressed will have their voice.
The powerful with the mighty army will become weak and subdued. This is the Day we have been waiting for — the oppressed will say!

And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten. 36:51

Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading, 54:7

The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening 70:43

EVERY PERSON WILL BE RAISED IN THE CONDITION IN WHICH HE DIES

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Every one will be raised in the condition in which he dies”.

[Muslim].

PEOPLE WILL BE RAISED UP ON THE DAY BAREFOOT, NAKED AND UNCIRCUMCISED

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah said:
“The people will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked and uncircumcised.” ‘Aishah said: “What about their ‘Awrahs?” he said: “Every man that day will have enough to make him careless of others”.

May Allah have mercy on us on that Day, and make all things easy for us.

And Allah knows best.
