They are not visible, but they exist, and this is part of our Iman.
The earth has a specific size and consistent rotation. There is one sun and one moon, these have been set into specific rotation with precise calculation. The probability for success for one single protein cell is 1 in 10 to the power 164. This did not happen by chance. In these are signs for those who think.
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.3:190
People have asked to see angels as proof because they said Prophets are just like us and nothing special. So, bring along angels.
And they say, “Why was there not sent down to him an angel?” But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved.6:8
When angels are seen it is game over. Question of believing does not arise if you had not been a believer earlier.
Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, “Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting.” 6:158
Angels assisted the Muslims in the battle of Badr against the Quraish who were more in number and better equipped.
Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction] 3:125
UMAR BIN ABDUL AZIZ
Umar bin Abdul Aziz, when he was dying, said, “Indeed, I see beings that are present now, beings that are neither human nor jinn (i.e., they are angels)” immediately after saying that, he died.
SALMAN AL-FARISI
During the last moments of his life, Salman Al-Farisi turned to his wife and said, “Bring me the thing that I have kept hidden.” Fully understanding what he was referring to, she came back with a container of misk (the best kind of perfume). “Now bring me a container of water,” Salman said.
After she brought the water, Salman mixed the misk into the water and then said, ”Pour this around me (and over me), for created beings of Allah – i.e, angels – are soon coming to me: though they don’t eat food, they can smell (so let me smell my best for them).”
There is a purpose why Allah created humans. What then are you doing if that purpose is not fulfilled? What role did you have in your creation?
You are relying on the fact that you won’t be brought back to life again and be answerable – Allah is promising that you will be brought back to life after death – just like He did the first time.
ANGELS SURROUND THE GATHERING WHERE ALLAH IS REMEMBERED
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’eed bore witness that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: “No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, But the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them and Allah remembers them before those who are with Him.” Sunan Ibn Majah 3791
THE CREATION OF MAN: ALLAH SPEAKS TO THE ANGELS
God, glory to be Him, when He said to the angels:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority.” They said, “Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?” 2:230
He replied by saying: “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.” 2:230. He then showed His knowledge to His servants and angels of what He had caused to exist on earth of the attributes of His creation, His prophets, His friends and those who strive toward Him by doing what He loves and pleases while struggling against their own lusts and desires, leaving what they love to increase their closeness to Him. From the sayings of Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah
WHICH HOUSE ANGELS DO NOT ENTER?
Narrated Abu Talha: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Angels do not enter a house that has either a dog or a picture in it.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 3322
And Allah knows best.
